Climate

Summer is hot & dry, however it does cool off pleasantly at night. Summer average 29C (range 18-40C).

Winter can be very cold in the early mornings & evening. Winter average 18C (range 4-22C). It can drop to -9C at dawn, but warms up by 9am. Make sure you bring warm clothes.

Fauna/Flora

Please do not disturb any plants, animals or other natural features.

Pets are not usually permitted to stay at the Retreat. However, animals specially trained to assist individuals who are vision or hearing impaired are welcome.

Dogs & Cats are prohibited in the neighbouring National Park.
